A first little collection or room for bigger ideas.

The useful answer

Choose the 32-piece set when you are starting small

The Classic 32 makes sense for a first introduction, a smaller space, or a gift that adds to a collection. It gives a child the basic idea without making storage or a larger purchase part of the decision. If one child is the main builder, start here and see which shapes they reach for.

Choose the 100-piece set when the ideas need room

The Classic 100 is our choice for families who already know magnetic building is a hit. More repeated squares and triangles support larger projects and give siblings more to work with. The larger piece count is most useful when it solves a real shortage in the way your children play.

Keep the collection in mind

Compatibility means either choice can remain useful when you add more MAGNA-TILES. Compare the actual shapes, existing pieces, available space, and the number of children playing. Buying the largest set is not the only route to a thoughtful collection.

A few good questions.

Can the two sets be used together?

Yes. MAGNA-TILES states that its sets are compatible with one another. Follow the age guidance for each set.

Is the 100-piece set always the better choice?

No. We prefer the smaller set for a compact introduction and the larger one when building scope or shared play makes the extra pieces useful.
